Uses : 

1. Mainly used in the food industry as a quality improver, pH regulator, metal ion chelating agent, adhesive, and expansion agent.

2. The main aspects of the industrial industry are:
(1) Sodium hexametaphosphate can be heated with sodium fluoride to produce sodium monofluorophosphate, which is an important industrial raw material;
(2) Sodium hexametaphosphate, as a water softener, plays a role in softening water when used in dyeing and finishing;
(3) Sodium hexametaphosphate is also widely used as a scale inhibitor in water treatment industries such as EDI (resin electrodialysis), RO (reverse osmosis), NF (nanofiltration), etc.
